Release date and new content
Primal Dread is an upcoming DLC for Brotato. The official October 8 announcement gives a planned release date of November 2, 2026. The Steam edition requires the base game. The announcement does not specify an exact release time.
The expansion introduces a jungle map with 20 waves, including new enemies, elites and bosses. New characters, weapons, items, pets and achievements have also been announced.

Evolution develops in two directions: Mecha and Mutation. Mecha strengthens weapons and adds stats; Mutation copies item effects. Each direction also changes the enemies you face. We will add verified values and conditions after release.
